Retention periods
- Unreferenced uploaded images: cleanup-eligible after 24 hours.
- User-removed local draft records: deleted after 30 days.
- Active created-product history: expires 30 days after the app records publication.
- Unfinished drafts, store settings, credits, purchases, and AI operations: no automatic age-based expiration; removed at authenticated shop redaction.
- Rate-limit and webhook-receipt records: 45 days.
- Raw analytics events: 180 days.
- Daily metrics and owner audit records: 400 days.
- Other operational and audit records: no general age-based expiry where the application defines none. Applicable shop-linked records are removed during redaction.
Merchant-controlled records
Where the app provides deletion controls, merchants can use them for applicable drafts, uploads, or history. Deleting an app record never deletes a Shopify product.
Uninstall, reinstall, and shop redaction
Uninstalling revokes the app’s Shopify sessions, cancels pending work, and marks the installation inactive. Credits, purchase records, drafts, and settings remain until Shopify sends an authenticated shop-redaction request. Reinstalling before redaction restores the existing credit balance and purchase history without another starter credit.
Shop redaction permanently deletes merchant-linked records and queues private uploaded images for deletion. A later fresh installation receives one starter credit.
Requesting deletion
Email [email protected] from an address associated with the merchant account. We may need to verify the request before acting. Deletion cannot remove information controlled solely by Shopify or another service provider; those requests must be directed to the relevant provider.
Provider-managed backups and logs
Provider-managed backups and platform logs follow the applicable provider and account configuration. Specific retention periods are not stated here unless they have been independently verified.
